Attachment & Aversion: Two Sides of Same Coin


PicturedRocks_200803LIn “Living Your Yoga,” Judith Lasater observes that whether I am busy pulling something in or pushing it away, there is a relationship (between me and the object or event) that limits my freedom.  Having preferences is natural, but clinging to them causes suffering.  This week, notice your preferences for and against things.  Consider your reactions to life’s circumstances.  Do those reactions feel skillful or unskillful?
